1927 – Marianna's mother came from Poland to live with Agnes & Steve (they lived near Chambers Bakery off E. 55th St. Cleveland.) Stayed for 12 – 24? months. Returned to Poland, homesick.
Attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School where he was taught Polish.
1932 – Lived at Morgan Ave.
1932 September 24 Death Certificate - A Frank Pavlek died of multiple abscesses of kidneys and liver in City Hospital, Cleveland. Address was Wayfarers' Lodge. Age: 37. Birthplace: Poland. Marital: Single. Occupation: Baker. Informant: E.H. Raus of E.J. Raus & Son Undertaker, 5040 Broadway. [This may be our grand father. I've heard that Grandma made him leave because of his drinking. She said he worked in a bakery and was very unhappy. Frank Pawlik would have been 37 in 1932.]

1947 November 26 - (3531 E. 91, Cleveland) Awarded Bronze Star Medal for exemplary conduct in ground combat against the armed enemy on or about 5 February 1944 in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
