1947 June 28 - Anthony married Mary Catherine Holiday at St. Catherines Church, E. 93rd, Cleveland, Ohio

1947 - Lived upstairs with Ma's parents on E. 91.

1948 May 22 - Gary Thomas born (Huron Road Hospital, East Cleveland)
Address: 3531 E.91, Cleveland.

abt 1946 - Anthony went to work for Cleveland Railway as an electrician. It later became the Cleveland Transit System (CTS) in the 1950's and then Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) in the 1980's. He worked at various garages including Reed (E.93 near Union,) Woodhill (E.93 & Woodhill,) Brooklyn (Broadview & Pearl), Main Office (1404 9th St.,) Triskett (Berea Rd. & Lakewood Hts. Blvd.) and one on E. 93 that was torn down in the 1960's (Superior?)

1949 September 11 - Robert Joseph born.

1953 - Bought double family on 11129 Glenboro Ave., Cleveland. Jack & Betty lived upstairs.

1952? - Moved to Daytona Beach, Florida for about 6 months. Dad could not find a good job and Ma was homesick and did not like the hot summers.

Moved back to 3531 E.91 before buying house on Beacon.

1950's - Ma started work with the Kroger Company (E. 55th?) where she met her life long friend, Virginia Klute.
She worked as a typist in the evenings for Dr. Ling, Dr. Shannon & Dr. Bell downtown at the Hanna Bldg. She would transcribe their operations. I think she took the bus downtown after Dad got home from work to babysit. Dad would load us up in the car about 9:30 PM to go and pick her up so she wouldn't have to ride the bus home.
She also did some book keeping work for the Orley's at our house on Beacon. [Their son, Michael Orley, I believe became a priest.]

1953 - I went to Paul Revere Elementary for Kindergarten.

1954 July 4 - Barbara Ann born (St. Lukes Hospital)

1954 - Granger Rd., Garfield Heights. I went to Elmwood Elementary school for first grade. I remember large fields behind the house.

1955? - State highway department bought house to put I-480 through.

1955 - 9510 Beacon Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. Bob (1st grade) & I (2nd grade) went to Woodland Hills Elementary school.

1956 Apr - Bought double family house at 3587 E. 108 with Howard & Juanita. They moved there and rented out the upstairs as income for all.

1958 February 15 - Ralph James born (St. Lukes Hospital)

1960's - Sold house on Beacon to Jack & Betty's friends (Shores) on land contract.
Bought double family house from Howard and Juanita at 3587 E. 108 St., Cleveland, Ohio. Rented upstairs to Mrs. Schuld (Dad's co-worker's mother.)

1962 or 1963 - Bought summer house at Put-In-Bay. It was in terrible shape and Dad spent his August vacation out there every year with us doing major repairs on it.

1963 August 9 - Ma's father, George Holiday died in Cleveland.

1960's - Catherine went to work for the Cleveland Public School system as a school secretary. She spent years at Cranwood Elementary school and worked for a while at Lincoln West Junior High, Alfred E. Benesch and South High.

1966 - Bought house 7825 N. Gannett Rd., Sagamore Hills, Ohio. Put E. 108 property up for sale. They did not want their kids growing up in the deteriorating neighborhood.
The Shores picked up and moved out of Beacon Ave. and defaulted on their loan. They left Ma & Dad with the problem of selling the house again.

1967 - The property at 3587 E. 108 St., Cleveland, Ohio did not sell, so Ma & Dad had to sell Gannett Rd. property and move back there.

1968 May - House on E. 108 finally sold.

1968 June - Bought and moved to 3335 Grantwood, Parma.

1975 Sep - Snow Rd., Parma, Ohio

1980's - 11750 Meadowbrook Ave., Parma Heights, Ohio

1980 April 19? - Dad's step-father, Walter Laskowski died.

1982 Sep. 24 - Dad's mother, Marianna (Wloszczyna) Laskowski died.

1980's - Sold house at Put-In-Bay to next door neighber there (Skip.)

1988 Nov. 17 - Ma's mother, Johanna (Josephine) Holiday died at Andover, Ohio.
